Ten Thousand Waves

The hike up to the spa is worth the effort!  There is great beauty along the trail and wonderful vistas of the surrounding mountains under the cover of a dense canopy of trees.  There are also sculptures along the way.
As you near the final leg of the ascent, traditional Japanese structures appear and slightly winded you kick yourself, "We could have driven up here!!!"  But then you'd have missed the beautiful path, grand vistas, sculptures, abundant natural beauty and you'd have 47 extra, unnecessary calories.
Warm and welcoming zen....
Beautiful interior courtyard begins the journey towards relaxation.
The walk towards the massage huts.
Massage pavillion
